Vendor Selection and Approval Finalizing and releasing Purchase orders Preparing monthly, quarterly and Annual Purchase Budget Preparing the annual capital purchase budget Controlling the Inventory Cost Control and Reduction in the Input Material Cost Working on alternative materials, which can save cost, maintenance and enhance quality Studying Value engineering proposals and get the same sanctioned from Quality & Construction Department Monitoring Vendor Performance Taking monthly reports from Procurement Executives on materials procured during the period and vendor performance.

Periodic visits to sites for assessing vendor performance on the basis of (QCD) Quality, Cost and Delivery During this visit interacting with Quality Executive to get information on the quality problems and deciding the counter measures for the same Disapprove purchase request issued by project/operations dept if it is not under the pre-approved budget Updating the management in advance about the market trends of raw material prices.

Intimating in advance about the fluctuation in raw materials rates/quantity or in such event in making Prepare monthly purchase MIS-Project wise-Company wise Sanction bulk purchase/booking of seasonal items in consultation with the planning and project manager
