You are responsible for

• Design and implementation of software (on component or module level)u2014understand and communicate consequences of your design on the architecture and influence design specification
• Design software based on design specifications in accordance, to ensure that the software will be reliable, efficient, user-friendly, easy to maintain and meet the (medical) quality and coding standards
• Implement class, unit integration and unit tests for the designed modules or components
• Contribute to the quality and maintainability of our software stack which has to be maintained for a long time (10+ years)
• Perform work in-line with processes/quality system.
  
  
• Contributing to the unit interfaces (SW), in close consultation with relevant disciplines
• Initiatives and active participation for continuous improvement and Agile / Safe / Scrum process

To succeed in this role, youu2019ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

• Bachelor/Master of Engineering in the field of Computer Science/ Electronics and Communication or equivalent
• At least 5/10 yearsu2019 experience in software design and development
• Experience with software development methodologies such as agile (SAFE), scrum and the V-model
• Experience with all aspects of the software development lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, test, and integration
• Ability to analyze the root cause of a problem and deliver evidence for the root cause and it side effects
• Ability to find existing (legacy) code a positive challenge
• Ability to think in risks for the proposed solution (including where to solve it)
• Strong working experience of C# and C++
• Experience object-oriented programming, GIT / ADS / SOLID principles and (unit) testing u200Bu200B

• Interest in development of software in a controlled regulated environment
• Experience in working in a healthcare product development environment is an advantage
