Site Reliability Engineer What You'll Do Operate & maintain high availability of software for multiple products running in a multi-region cloud environment Analyze operational performance to deliver improvements in critical maintenance related metrics & KPIs Drive focused initiatives that improve operational efficiency and scalability of the platform and applications Build tools and automation that eliminate work and reduce time it takes to resolve an issue Setup and maintain cloud operations automation runbooks & tooling to monitor & maintain enterprise cloud-based applications.

Respond to system outages on a timely basis and drive warroom to mitigate outages Develop and maintain DevOps scripts Understand modern software security and secure software systems with cloud-based infrastructure Deploy and maintain security agents, policies and best practices on all cloud servers Provide full-stack diagnostics and determine the root cause of internal problems Ensure Cloud Deployed Cloud Infrastructure meets security requirements Manage the organization's Git repository Manage organization's production site back & restore process What you need for this position This position offers a work from home opportunity Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and environment and fluent with linux terminal commands Strong experience in developing bash scripts for monitoring systems with integration with Slack Working Postgres database experience Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Infrastructure Experience in developing Google Cloud CLI scripts will be an added advantage Strong knowledge of Networking, Load balancers, DNS, and TCP/IP.

Experience in handling production outages and root cause analysis Hands-on operational experience in a high-volume or critical production service environment Experience creating tools for infrastructure (IaaS and PaaS) management and automation Experienced with DevOps engineering practices, comfortable with diverse technical problem sets across the tech stack Comfortable operating in environments subject to regulatory, compliance, and risk-based security requirements Experience in CI/CD tool sets (e.

g Jenkins, GitLab, Sonarqube, etc) Experience with Asana project management tools will be an added advantage Soft Skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Must be willing to work diligently and collaboratively in a cross functional, multi geo team setup to meet project deadlines Patience and tolerance for when things just go wrong Excellent communications skills (written, verbal, & virtual).
