Our client a big company ,they are looking to hire a Solar Designer, who have experience in solar electrical work Position: Solar Designer Location : Sudan, Africa Salary: 1500USD Responsibilities: To design and develop site plans for solar panel installation Translates initial concept ideas into fully detailed construction ready designs at supervisory level Transforms the good electrical and civil design on paper into the actual field Job description: Calculations and design using electrical software design packages BOQ/BOM proposal and tender preparation Project planning and scheduling Overseeing project execution Job role will entail all or some of the following: Use custom software tools to design PV ground mounted and roof top systems Perform accurate system sizing calculations Create electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, or connection diagrams for solar electric systems, using computer-aided design (CAD)/ PV system software Run PV system reports for system production estimates Develop optimal designs with SLD, PML, conduit and wire scheduling, routing and equipment plans, and conceptual 3-D renderings Execute designs that adhere to grid compliance and permitting requirements Building detailed bills of materials based on system specifications Coordinates with management team to develop complete proposal packages Work across functionally with sales, project management and installation teams to ensure clients' needs and internal deadlines are met Troubleshoot design and construction issues in the field Skills required: Knowledge in electrical design concepts Skill in computer technology and proficient in 2D and 3D modeling software such as PV System and AutoCAD Ability to design PV systems at 11/22/33/66 kV power levels as well as at lower voltage levels Project management skills Typical Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or similar in electrical engineering, solar engineering or similar field Minimum 3 years experience in design and construction PV plants High voltage PV power plants experience is beneficial but not necessary Self-disciplined with good organizing abilities Good in task prioritization, project scheduling and planning Please share your updated resume Kind regards, Yemima Sr.
