Recruitment against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the year 2019-20

Qualification :

Level-5  :  A university degree or its equivalent examination (in case of selection to Clerical category candidate should possess typing skill with 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi)

Level-4 : 12th (10+2) Passed with Physics and Math in higher secondary examination or 10th Passed + ITI or its equivalent (NAC from NCVT) examination for technical category

Level-2 & Level-3 : 12th (10+2) or its equivalent examination for NTPC & 10th Pass + ITI for technical category or equivalent (NAC from NCVT) or 12th (10+2) Passed with Physics and math in higher secondary examination.

Age Limits :  The candidates should have- Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years of age as on 01072019 (Note: matriculation or its equivalent certificate from recognized board should be submitted for date of birth proof) No age relaxation is allowed even for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

Selection Procedure : Selection will be based upon performance in sports Trial and Interview & Certificate produced in support of Educational qualification and sports achievements and finalized by a nominated selection committee.

Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) is a dream of the nation?s visionaries, coming true. The planners of the Nation with their deep insight and foresight set out to build a Loco building Factory in West Bengal and CLW is the culmination of that vision. In the late thirties, a committee consisting of M/s. Humphries and Shrinivasan was appointed to investigate the possibility of establishing a locomotive manufacturing unit and to consider its economic viability. The initial project, at Chandmari, a place near Kanchrapara, in the state of West Bengal, could not mature due to partition, which inevitably necessitated a change of site.
