Sr Manager Engineering Job In Amadeus In India, Bengaluru / Bangalore

• Responsible for the complete ownership of the component
• Delivery with optimum quality, within budget and time and with no escalations
• Responsible for the team management of 6-7 Direct reports and 15-20 team span with a mix of Dev, QA, BA, Devops, leads, manager profiles
• Design and Architecture of the component Have scalable architecture keeping in mind the future needs
• Contribute to process improvements
• Communicates with the stakeholders and is a part of all Cross Functional, Stakeholder and Status meetings
• Improves, optimizes, and identifies opportunities for improved software development processes
• Collaborate with various teams across site and with stakeholders to update the progress on release planning, raise an alarm upfront whenever necessary to ensure smooth delivery for customers
• Owning the responsibility and being accountable for the Dev, QA, PDEFdeliverables.
  
  
• Responsible for having matured processes for the component like PCI-DSS evaluations, Technical and Functional Monitoring, NFRs, Devops etc
• Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products

• An Engineering Degree - BE/BTech/MS
• 12-15+ years of relevant experience with the following skills Proven experience in driving architecture, design and development of distributed systems focusing on high scalability, availability and extensibility
• Excellent knowledge with architecting distributed scalable systems and hands on experience in delivering SOA, cloud and REST Services using Java/C++, Angular, JavaScript, DevOps etc
• Worked across the product development SDLC - Agile/SAFe methodology
• Good knowledge of industry trends AI/ML, Cloud Native etc.
