Understand, Study & Validate material requirement received and propose Logistics solution from existing network coverage & contracts

For new requirements, validate requirement and accordingly prepare detailed Statement of Requirement in requisite format with all specifications

Creation of Purchase Order against requirement

TAT for SOR to PO 2Logistics Services Management

Identify and finalise the various type of transportation in order to enhance optimum costs

Review the entire list of day-to-day shipments / deliveries of goods to and from plants and monitor status of the same

Plan e-bidding for finalization of Rates for a particular service and execution through team members

Tracking and Monitoring of Service Level Agreements & Performances w.

rt contracts / agreements / PO-s

Create mitigation action plan in case of exceptions and escalate appropriately

Transit Insurance Management and Recovery of Loss & Damage

Logistics Reliability

Service Provider Performance

Loss/Damage of Goods 3Vendor Management

Develop Market Intelligence around Logistics services for Automotive Industry and Benchmarks

Monitoring & Review of KPI-s of Service Provider Performance Management

Develop a strong relationship with Senior Management of Logistics provider for SOB, Long term contracts, Partnership etc

Prepare annual logistics budget plan basis of production volumes, parts procurement and supply strategy

Execute, measure and control the logistics budget in line with the targets

Provide inputs for premium freight approval from senior management, case to case basis

Prepare an annual budget for logistics and warehouse operations

Certification of Logistic Cost during Sourcing of Components (TML / Vendor Transportation Cost)

Establishment of process transparency in Inbound Logistics Cost component at the time of Sourcing to measure Per Veh & Per Plant Logistics Spend performance

Monitor and review all the cost elements like Remuneration to warehouse service provider, Packaging cost and Out-bound transportation cost

Create action plan to reduce costs and control within the budgeted cost

Analysis of Logistics spend and reporting to appropriate authorities
