N Key Responsibility & Key Tasks Measures 1 Logistics Requirement Management

Initiate negotiations with vendors from the existing network, basis of the material requirement proposed for the year

Propose different types of transportation in order to enhance optimum costs

For new requirements, validate requirement and accordingly prepare detailed Statement of Requirement in requisite format with all specifications

Work with Head Logistics on Service provider identification, evaluation, assessment and Commercial closure

Creation of Purchase Order against requirement

TAT for SOR to PO 2 Logistics Services Management

Tracking of all day-to-day shipments / deliveries of goods to and from plants and monitor status of the same

Make arrangements for execution of e-bidding for finalization of Rates for a particular service

Tracking and Monitoring of Service Level Agreements & Performances wrt contracts / agreements / PO-s

Escalate non-delivery or delay in logistics delivery and suggest mitigation action plan

Create documentation for Transit Insurance Management and Recovery of Loss & Damage
