Senior Lidar Engineer - TOPAs a Senior Lidar Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web-based tools for lidar data annotation You will work closely with the team to create user interfaces that allow efficient and accurate annotation of lidar data, taking into account the nuances of lidar data, including calibration, dealing with various data formats, and rendering in a 3D space You will also be responsible for ensuring that the tools are scalable, reliable, and easy to use for our clients and internal teamsResponsibilities:

• Design and develop web-based tools for lidar data annotation
• Develop user interfaces that allow efficient and accurate annotation of lidar data, taking into account the nuances of lidar data
• Collaborate with backend developers to ensure smooth integration between frontend and backend components
• Work with data annotation teams to understand their needs and improve the tools accordingly
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high code quality standards
• Ensure that the tools are scalable, reliable, and easy to use for our clients and internal teams
• Keep up to date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
• Experience with building web-based data annotation tools or similar applications
• Understanding of web standards and browser compatibility issues
• Familiarity with lidar technology and applications
• Experience with lidar data annotation and labeling
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience with backend technologies such as Java and Go
• Experience with JS Libraries like threejs and deck.
