Job Description (Posting)- 6+ years of IBM Information Server System Admin experienceResponsibilities- Installation and configuration of IBM Information Server (v113 or higher) on Cloud Platform (GCP / AWS / Azure)- Configure IBM Infosphere DataStage, created users, groups, credential mappings and assigned administrator and user roles, privileges in different environments- Configure custom connector to connect AWS / Azure using CLI to work with Infosphere DataStage - Working knowledge of Configuring High Availability environment and integrating with Infosphere- Configure and Manage MetaData Workbench- Create and Maintain operational databases primarily with DB2- Identify and fix design bottlenecks, performance issues, compilation and execution of server / parallel / complex sequence jobs- Space Management - allocation and usage within the DataStage file systems- Back-up and recovery of DataStage server- Responsible for monitoring/troubleshooting DataStage jobs during the production data load processes- Start and stop DataStage server during maintenance window- Raise PMR and co-ordinate with IBM for patch- Implemented Automated Health Check Dashboards and Performance Reports before and after the nightly ETL loads using SPLUNKMust Have- Experience of working in 24 7 support- Experience in automation of day to day data stage jobs using shell scripts- Create shell scripts and implemented it in DataStage sequencers for Impact Analysis- Experience in integration of various data source, testing and user documentation- Good knowledge of developing data stage parallel & sequential jobsGood to Have - Automation- CI/CD using Jenkins Pipeline (Code promotion), Github for version control - Scheduling- ESP Jobs Scheduling, AWX Ansible Tower - Familiarity with JIRA, ServiceNow / GLPI, GIT- Working knowledge in Linux, server management, database management (PostgreSQL)- Experience with ITIL process, Change management, Incident handling, JIRA , Development using Agile methodology- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams- Establish and maintain a working environment conducive to positive morale, individual style, quality, creativity, and teamwork- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment (1) To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussionsorreview as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
