5+ years of relevant SerDes Design and/or System Engineering experience Strong knowledge in high-speed serial links & SerDes technologies and Signal Integrity analysis of HSIO interfaces - eg PCIe, USB4, HDMI, MIPI, SAS, Custom SerDes etc .
Channel modeling, IBIS-AMI model development and system level simulations Behavioral and/or mathematical modeling of transceiver blocks (FFE, CTLE, DFE, CDR, PLL, PGA, Digital filters, etc) using matlab/simulnk or similar tools High Speed Signal Integrity simulation assessment using ADS or HFSS or similar System level modeling experience with MATLAB/Simulink or Mathematica or similar .
Experience using lab equipment for high-speed characterization - VNA, TDR, real-time scope, spectrum analyzer, etc Hands-on experience in extracting S-parameters or lumped models from packages and PCBs, converting it into Spice and/or behavioral compatible circuit models, and assessing the performance in frequency and time domains using simulation toolsDesirable: Prior High Speed SerDes IC product development experience Background in 2D and 3D electromagnetic modeling, transmission line theory is a plusSoft Skills:Be Self Driven and demonstrate excellent collaboration, communication, problem solving and teamwork skills.
