WHAT YOU'LL DOWHAT IS TEAMING@BCGTeaming@BCG is a global priority initiative sponsored by BCG Executive Committee with the goal to provide growth & sustainability to our staff and ensure we can recruit and retain the most ambitious and diverse group of individualsOver the last years we have developed a fit-for-purpose Teaming@BCG offering for our Business Services Teams that includes methods, tools, practices, behaviors, and team coaching Using different types of team engagements this offering has proven to increase team effectiveness and sustainabilityWHAT YOU'LL DOThis Team Coach role will apply Teaming@BCG offering to our internal functional teams (HR, Marketing, Finance, etc) Your key responsibility will be to support selected teams through coaching, facilitating, training, and best-practice sharing.

This support will include setting up new teams as much as accelerating the growth of existing teams You will coach both the individuals and the teams, facilitate trainings, support adoption of new practices and tools including the digital onesYou can hear from some of our colleagues dedicated to the consulting teams hereEach Team Coach will work across 4 areas:

• Team Coaching - Coach functional teams, accelerating the adoption of new practices, with emphasis on enabling effective leadership and high-performing teaming (70%)
• Innovate the global Teaming@BCG content/offering (10%)
• Support critical Teaming@BCG program components/workstreams (10%)
• Act as global mentor to other coaches and enabler of change champions (10%)

Facilitating / Coaching

• Presenting ambiguous and difficult concepts in a clear, simple and tangible way
• Coaching teams, executives and individuals from different backgrounds and with different skill-sets
• Enabling individuals and groups to apply a wide range of practices and methods, including but not limited to Psychological safety, Agile, Digital collaboration tools and more
• Enabling effective teams by recognizing individual talents and skills

Building strong relationships

• Building strong relationships and networks
• Collaborating and developing joint solutions with an iterative approach
• Getting buy in from leadership and the team to execute vision on how to embed Teaming@BCG at scale
• Influencing and efficiently persuading, working with multiple partners and building on the different points of view

• Your skills as a mentor & team shaper, innovating the way BCG teams work internally
• Your leadership and mentorship ability, in developing leaders by providing on-the-job mentoring
• Your skills related to value creation, team building, establishment of psychological safety, agile methodologies and digital collaboration
• Your potential to influence decision makers and key BCG partners

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• A passion for people development and making people thrive in a high paced environment
• Extensive coaching experience (certifications are highly required)
• Minimum 10 years professional experience with growing levels of responsibility
• Team management experience
• High proficiency in key collaborations tools used in BCG (Slack, Trello, Miro, SharePoint, OneNote, Zoom)
• Plus to be considered (but not required): a consulting background with at least 2-3 years as team leader, agile proficiency or team coaching experience
