Position Name:Senior Engineer- Software Development (PL/SQL) Work Exp:3Yrs to5Yrs Key Purpose of Role:This role has responsibility for development and expected to work in all areas of software engineering (Core Development, design, Implement, review, document) as the demand dictates Responsibility / Tasks:

1. Oracle Architecture
2. Packages, Procedures, Functions, Indexes
3. Oracle PL/SQL Collections
4. Developing Complex SQL Queries using analytic functions
5. Oracle Partitions
6. Oracle External table, SQLLDR
7. Basic Performance Tuning
8. Experience of working in Unix environment
9. Good to understand Agile methodology like Scrum

Essential Skills

1. Strong Experience with PLSQL
2. Good Experience in writing complexSQL queries
3. Extensive experience and hands-on knowledge of PL/SQL (Packages/Functions)
4. Experience in performance aspects of large databases

Desired Skills

1. Hands on experience in frequent code deployment into multiple environments
2. Hands on experience inUnix Scripting
3. Good understanding of more than one software development methodology (Waterfall, Agile, etc)
4. Experience in Agile development
5. Exposure and knowledge of Financial Services domain
6. Extremely good communication skills, verbal and written
7. Excellent inter-team relationship skills

9. Good Team Player
10. Should be strong Experience in PLSQL (Core Development) and Unix shell scripting part
