About the Role:

• We are looking for a BI and DevOps professional who will be responsible for advanced visualization and development of BI Dashboards for diverse business requirements Development will be primarily done in AWS cloud environment and on multi Cloud data
• The BI expert should have a good background in data management, and business analysis and will work directly with Governance, Finops, Finance and various IT teams to help visualize cloud data, discover and share insights, and ultimately assist in making better decisions
• Candiate will work closely with the Governance team and help to focus on right priorities by building mechanisms and dashboards to make data accessible to internal teams
• This is highly visible and strategic role and will require you to use a mix of SQL, ETL, data warehouse concepts, data modeling, business analysis, reporting and scripting sills to create data insights.
  
  
• Design, build, and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and assit with ongoing analysis to enable data driven decisions across our team

Job Duties in Brief:

• Architect, design and develop end-to-end business analytics solutions, interactive data visualizations, and dashboards
• Translate reporting needs and requirements to technical specifications, analyze data ,create proof of concepts, design functional specifications for BI dashboards and connect to and transform data
• Build required process and systems for optimal data extraction and transformation from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS services expertise
• Develop visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using BI platforms.
  
  
• Collaborate with teams to integrate data from various sources like onprem and cloud for further analysis
• Follow appropriate data integration, management and retention standards, and documentation of current data sources, raw data, data marts, transformations, and report specifications
• Develop Lambda functions, python code and ETL SQL procedures to retrieve data from source systems to the AWS

About You:

• Minimum of 8 years of data engineering experience with at least 3 years of AWS/Azure experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience using some popular BI tool with some experience in using AWS QuickSight.
  
  
• Advanced degree (Bachelor's, etc) in computer science or related field preferred
• Experience in end-to-end BI project lifecycle (requirements, design, testing AND deployment) will be a plus
• Experience with tools such as Power BI , Qlik, Quickview etc is critical.
  
  
• You will need to be savvy about leveraging distict and large data sets, defining BI requirements, and building scalable and automated dashboards to provide self-service BI capability to your stakeholders
• Proficiency using cloud-native cost reporting services AWS cost explorer or Azure Cost management and Billing
• Working knowledge of native cloud provider cost management capabilities and pricing models
• Experience in developing KPI's and scorecards based on internal and industry benchmarks
• Knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as SQL queries and Python is a must.
  
  Identify, develop, manage, and execute queries across multiple data sets to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations
• Deep knowledge of AWS and Azure Cloud environment
• Cloud and other technical certifications will be a plus
• Strong knowledge of cloud processes, Srevices, , data flows, , proficiency with data integration tools and data storage platforms
• Experience with some of data integration tools viz Qlik, AWS quickview etc.

• Demonstrated ability to be self-directed with excellent organization, analytical and interpersonal skills
