- Place phone calls to potential clients from our computerized directory
- Perform script (with necessary adjustments) to ensure consistency of sales program
- Answer potential clients&rsquo questions about home improvement projects or goals
- Set appointments with prospective customers based on our associates&rsquo schedules
- Maintain computer, telephone and other equipment
- Train other telemarketers when required
- Communicate any problems, concerns or questions to supervisory staff
- Refer customer complaints to supervisor for quality control
- Communicate respectfully and politely with potential customers at all times
Key Skills
Proficiency in English (Spoken and Written), MS Office, Great communication skillsCandidate Profile
1. High school
2. Minimum 6 months experience in sales (lead generation preferred) a plus
3. 6+ months experience telemarketing
4. Excellent phone manner and articulation
5. Ability to type minimum 40 WPM (words per minute)
6. Results-driven and willing to work on commission basis
7. Ability to cope with rejection on a daily basis
