Job Description :Team Management Managing a team of 5-8 relationship managers Monitoring and guiding RMs to achieve their respective income, asset, liability and other targets Engaging with RMs for planning and executing actionables and outcomes for the year Reviews with the RMs on their respective portfolio (plan Vs achievement) To align RMs with vertical/ Banks objective and to make sure the entire unit is motivated towards achieving common goals Handling exceptions/ escalations and handholding RMs to meet desired TATs Joint client meetings along with RMs for better scoping and income Ensure joint meetings of relevant bank verticals for higher product holding.
Help the RM to scope for possible product penetration and provide strategy and guidance on how to achieve it Providing guidance to RMs and preparing them before call to make an effective and resulted oriented sales pitch Ensure that all the management guidance is properly passed on to the last RM in the team for effective management guidance implementation Supervision of RM on Performance, variance with budgets and plans to meet shortfall And to make sure all RMs are productive Training and mentoring the individual RMs.
On the Job Appraisal and feedback for continuous improvements Recruitment Interviews Providing Administrative approvals Asset Preparing budget for the assigned geography and assigned RMs by consolidating scoped potential on each Client Ensure to meet the assigned asset targets Ensure significant YoY Asset growth on absolute basis Increasing Asset Product Mix in the Clients portfolio CC/OD/WCDL/TL/DRUL etc Increasing the asset book by acquiring new customers (NTB) Portfolio monitoring and review (ALM/ Tableau/ Business MIS)Core Income Planning the income targets for assigned RMs at start of the financial year BDP , APR, Reconciliation on continuous basis Ensure YoY Income growth in line with verticals targets Portfolio monitoring to meet the MoM revenue plans.
Tracking of performance at regular intervals to monitor income variance with budgets; formulating and implementation of plans to meet income targets for the portfolio Monitor and deliver on Incremental/ Portfolio Yield as per Plan Revenue maximization through offering of right mix of Products as per customers needs To ensure Fee and other income growth including NFB income lines mix and growth (BG/ LC) Continuous Improvement on yield for the Bank so that the Portfolio has a strong Return on capital Liability To ensure that each RM meet Liability growth in line with Assets growth to meet the Self-Funding Plan for the year To ensure that his RMs offer all products and services that a customer needs viz CA/ SA/ FD/ Customers Salary Account etc To engage continuously with Bank Branch Channel to ensure delivery of product/ services along with RMs To ensure continuous improvement in product holding for each client by driving RMs Key Objectives To plan and meet Key Objectives set for the year To promote KO like Cross sell of products, like Salary Account of the managed clients, Driving Branch Business, NTB, Tax Throughput, Forex, digital drives including Trade on Net/ ENet/ CMS, etc To ensure PSL/Agri targets of the portfolio is achieved Driving RMs to Engage with customers for Promotion of digital drives of the Bank like Enet/NetBanking, TON, SME digital, Mobile Banking, PayZapp, Insta Alert, Smart Buy, etcQualitative objectives Unit Heads to supervise to ensure that all gaps in servicing the customer (with any support function) are resolved through process improvement or escalations Interaction with promoters and senior management of IFG relationships to build a strong relationship with the clients To make sure high level of client satisfaction Interacting with various departments of the Bank and providing them with insight on IFG business and to get inputs on their business for cross sell at the region level.
CRM call reviews to be done to provide guidance and monitor tasks & leads for closure Credit Review TAT reviews, Approver / Recommendation of Credit Limits and helping RMs to get credit approvals Relationship building with both internal and external customers Initiatives, process innovation beyond normal work Geography/ Area handling to ensure coverage including the Rural initiatives, alongwith Branch/ OEMs To track Market and Competition To lead by examples, ensure seamless communication between various stakeholders.
To ensure high employee motivation Interacting with RBI and regulators Meeting Regional Heads, Circle Heads, Cluster Heads, BMs/RMs from the retail branch banking team and scope of business in his designated areas Maximize business from Branch channel Ensure that RBB team is updated about ECG-IFG offering and having enough traction in generating meaningful leads.
Housekeeping To Keep Proper Track on Housekeeping for the Healthy portfolio PDD, Deferrals, to be ensured within defined levels ORMC deferrals to be nil Managing Call Memo, CAM renewals, minimum SRM for the team Ensure that business is conducted as per Banks and RBI guidelines Portfolio review and remedial management includes managing exits, line reductions, recovery and restructuring of exposures Management of stress and critical accounts Management of deferrals/ pre and post documentation formalities.
