AML L1 Alerts AnalystResponsibilities: Complete the initialreview of customer account activity flagged by the Bank's automated monitoringsystem Write a comprehensiveanalysis of the account activity which includes a detailed disposition as towhy an alert is being closed or escalated for further review Retaining strongrecords of all information relied upon to complete a disposition of an alert Maintaining a highdegree of knowledge of appropriate BSA and OFAC l aws and regulations Working with the Bank'sFinancial Intelligence Unit to identify and report potentially suspiciousactivity Interacting with branchpersonnel regarding unusual activity to determine if an appropriate resolutioncan be reached.

Performing otherrelated duties as assigned by the Alert Disposition Team Leader and BSA Managerof the Financial Intelligence UnitRequirements: Ability to read, write,and speak English at professional proficiency required Ability to speak andread French/ Japanese, and any other EMEA or Asia-Pacific languages will be anadded advantage Degree in Banking /Finance / Business with 1-2 years financial services experience in one or acombination of the following: fraud, Bank Secrecy Act, anti-money laundering,investigations of financial crimes transactions or compliance Must have priorexperience with reviewing and working alerts, preferably in the financialintelligence unit of financial institution, as well as analyzing or managingfinancial crime investigative processes.

Process orientedcoupled with a strong ability to develop appropriate program enhancingstrategies Detail orientated andwell organized and proficient in Microsoft office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint ishighly preferred Ability to work allthree shifts
