Q1 Can I take study leave after joining SSC jobs?
Ans: First of all, the question is Study Leave for what purpose??
Government of India provides the facility of Study Leave for some specialized courses approved by Government, Higher Studies and NOT for preparation of competitive exams.
If you are preparing for further competitive exams after clearing SSC, here are some tips:
Apply for Extension- If you need time to study and you think it will be tough to study after joining the job, then, don’t join immediately and apply for extension. Every department has this facility, the period of extension is normally is of 3 months maximum (it might be more or less , depending on the concerned department). Once you join the job, it will be very tough for you to apply for leave, at least for one year.
Try to accumulate your Leaves- If you join the job, and you know that you might have to go on leave for preparing other exams, try not to take leave without any reason. Maintain good relations with your senior officers because they are the one who will grant you leave.
Leisure time at work place- Most of SSC jobs don’t have significant workload, so try to maintain a schedule at work place, so that you get time to study at office also.
Q2 Will SSC jobs vanish in the upcoming years?
Ans: Before answering this question, Let me discuss what SSC employees usually do. Most of the SSC jobs are clerical in nature. SSC employee do file work mostly and do not have any decision making power unlike IAS/IPS. India have population of 130 caror and due to this number, Government need human resources in large number too in order to make and execute policies. Untill or unless, we adopt automation, SSC jobs are very much safe. As we are very busy in Mandir-Masjid and HIndu-Muslman, we have neither time nor expertise to adopt automation. It will still take 40–50 years as per my opinion. So Yes, SSC jobs are very safe and is not going to vanish atleast till 2070.
Q3 Will Corona affect the SSC jobs?
Ans: Of course there will be the effect of corona on SSC ,it can be estimated as except last year SSC was always getting late in announcing vacancies and recruiting these, So we can conclude on the performance of ssc in last years that this year vacancies will be late by almost 3–4 months and also possible that vacancies may be less as compared to last Years. So be prepared as there will be the tough competition and high cut offs.
Q4 Why do IITians prefer SSC jobs?
Ans: It is not that they prefer SSC jobs specifically. A lot of them go for UPSC and MBA too. But the reason that a lot of them go into the fields not related to their study is:-
*When they dont end up getting job in their dream company.
*Even if they do, they get fed up and annoyed with the work pressure and work load there and they realise that they are not meant to do this job.
*Another reason that attracts them towards government jobs is the work-life balance and fixed working hours.(although there are many government jobs where you have to work round the clock or at least 10–12 hours a day).
*Social prestige.
*Job security.
These are some reasons because of which they make government job their preference.
Q5 Why do people go for BANK or SSC jobs not MBA?
Ans: 1.SSC jobs & to some extend Bank jobs are less hectic compare to MBA jobs.
2.The working hours are lesser in Bank and SSC jobs.
3.They provide stability & Job security.
4.Various other perks which only a govt job can provide.
5.Cut throat competition in the corporate world.
In terms of growth, money and skills MBA trumps both of these,as the promotions and increments are really slow and hard to come by in both SSC and Bank PO jobs. Also, constant transfers after a certain period are a big problem. If you perform well in your MBA job, chances are you could get promotion really fast and increase your overall pay package. And if you constantly change firms then you could increase your salary by a considerable margin provided you do well in all your jobs, which really can’t be said for SSC and Bank jobs.
Q6 Does a SSC job a good job?
Ans: There is a fierce competition in the market in the field of IT. Companies want very talented and young and cheap resources to work on their products and services to sustain in the market. As you get older, you will lose your value. As you get more experience, you will be more vulnerable unless you have the capability and skills to demonstrate that you are required for the company. This keeps going until one fine day you call it quits!. There are no IT unions to support your claims in case of you get into any kind of fight with your employer. You just have to quit and go home.

6.If you score good, you will get posting near hometown.
BENEFITS of MBA
1.Good package
2.likely to get travel abroad
3.Corporate lifestyle
If you want stability an security go with SSC CGL Jobs.
Q8 Do promotions in SSC jobs depend upon the SSC rank?
Ans: No, it doesn’t depend on SSC marks. It is only used for preparing final merit list. The promotions on any such jobs depends on the number of years of service and the departmental tests.
Q9 What is the working nature of SSC jobs?
Ans: It depends on you. By appointing you for the job the Central Government has bought minimum 8 hr per day till 60 years. Whether you do your job sincerely or not the Govt will pay your salary in time and you won't go hungry. But it's upto you how you utilize this time that you have dedicated for the public service. Because your sincerity will be bringing progress to the Country and the people that needed your service. But if you are not sincere also, you will get your salary in time. So, nature of work depends on you and how you utilize this 8 hr.
Q10 Can an arts student apply for SSC jobs?
Ans: You are asking a question as to: “Can an arts student apply for SSC jobs?”.
SSC jobs do not ask for any special stream of subjects in general except for specific applications like junior statistical assistant or assistant auditor officer's jobs etc,. They simply ask either 10+2 or degree in any stream. So, as an arts student, you can apply for SSC CHSL & SSC CGL jobs.
Q11 How are bank jobs and SSC jobs better than a job in TCS?
Ans: There are several advantages for working in a bank whether as a clerk or a PO.
i) Comparatively better quality people as compared to TCS/Infosys/Wipro. This is because of a competitive recruitment exam an applicant has to pass through(for a bank job).
ii) There are chances that you might get to work at a place near your home, if you work in a bank. Only big cities have shops named TCS/Infosys/Wipro/HCL.
iii) Job security in Bank job.
iv) Less show-off and down-to-eath/logical people to be with.
v) No upgradation of skill is required for working in a bank.
