Responsibilities & Key DeliverablesResponsible for Planning and execution of New Gears & Housing Machining Facility 1 Planning of Process, Layout & Logistics 2 Ensuring zero defect, on-time delivery, Troubleshooting & improvements - First time right.
3 Process automatiom concept development & implementation 4 Plant layout & Process layout design with industrial standards 5.
APQP & PPAP documents (PFC,PFMEA,CP,DFMEA,MFMEA,DAP) - preparation / Updation 6 Regular interaction with stakeholders for smooth implementation & hand over 7 Regular interaction with suppliers to ensure on time receipt of equipment.
8 Preparation of RFQ, scope of supply, technical finalisation including occupational safety new machining facility 9 Ensure trial parts availability for acceptance & prove-out trials 10.
Ensure all the safety during installation of equipment 11 Ensuring smooth Productionizing of new product & applicable quality standards as per plan 12 Ensure active participation of employees in QC stories, OIT, CIT, Kaizens etc and Cost innovations.
13 Ensure 100% handing over of documents / drawings to plant engg team 14 Handing over of all consumables with Mahindra part no & with updated drawings / specifications Preferred IndustriesEngineeringAutomobileEducation QualificationBE - Mechanical General Experience5-7 yearsCritical Experience1) Experience on planning of Machining facility for Gears & Housing.
2) Knowledge of Gear Machining process & Equipments 3) Knowledge of all critical accuracies need to be maintained at gear machining 4) Exposure of latest gear mfg processes and equipments 5) Preparation of RFQ, scope of supply, technical finalisation for cutting & non cutting equipments at machine shop 6) Exposure to CNC programming 7) Hands on experience of Fixture & Gauge design 8) Knowledge of APQP documentation 9) Hands on experience on CAD, MS office, SAP 10) Exposure to Material / part handling 11) Basic knowledge of heat treatment processes and equipment 12) Basic Knowledge of PLC systems, Line integration systems, Data aquisition systems 13) Basic knowledge of 'Condition based monitoring ' and 'Time based monitoring systems, IOT 14) Exposure to gear inspection processes and report analysis.
