• Accountable for overall regulatory support for VMS projects.
  
  
• Ensure regulatory input and compliance in all innovation projects
• Ensure all relevant manufacturing licenses are in place and compliance are met
• Work with other functions (manufacturing, R&D, quality, marketing, third-party manufacturer etc) to ensure right first-time submissions and approvals of products
• Lead and represent during various regulatory inspections.
  
  
• Lead engagement with state and central authorities on the issues arising in the business
• Develop strong regulatory framework, capability and capacity in the business
• Partner marketing to co-create winning and compliant claims and communication
• Ensure appropriate regulatory intelligence gathering, impact assessment and de-risking the business
• Review and provide input of formulation, label and claims of various products.
  
  
• Ensure robust regulatory documentation and archival on products

What are we looking for

• Masters in food sciences or in a relevant field
• Experienced in VMS, Ayush and cosmetic regulatory affairs in India, at least 8-10 years
• Experienced in working with the state and central regulatory authorities eg, FSSAI, Ayush and State FDAs.
  
  
• Experienced in handling regulatory audits
• Experienced in providing regulatory assessment of formulation, claims and communications for VMS, cosmetic and Ayush products
• Experienced in handling challenges eg, ASCI, FDA challenges etc.
