Job Description:
Conduct end to end valuation of portfolios comprising of fixed income and derivatives
Identification of issues and carrying out the relevant valuation analysis
To undertake assignments with simple to medium complexity instruments within the portfolio
Write completion memo and reporting slides
Analyze in depth the portfolio deviations (cash flows/valuation models)
Establish strong professional relationships with onshore team members
Essential skills required
Education / professional qualifications
MBA / CFA /FRM/CQF
Undergraduate degree in Engineering/Economics/
Commerce/Mathematics
The candidate must have 0-1 year of relevant experience in a similar role, particularly in a professional services firm / third-party KPO
Project and Team management exposure
Credible record of operating as an independent contributor and also working as part of a team during larger projects
High problem solving skills; ability to drive through to an outcome in circumstances of complexity and ambiguity
Goal driven should be focused on performing valuation related task on simple to high complex derivatives Instruments
Product knowledge of various financial instruments such as Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, FX Derivatives, Government and corporate bonds, Securitisations etc
Proficiency in use of MS excel (including macro programming)
Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations
Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team player; self-driven and ability to work independently
