• Implement regional or global commodity strategies into local systems.
  
  
• ECN / Project implementation: Managing the full sourcing process (RFQs, Negotiations and Supplier Awarding) under the framework of the global / regional strategy of the commodity
• Short-term volume forecasting / planning alignment: Continuous dialogue and interaction with local plants and project planning
• Guarantee the right sequence of invoices' approval and support the plants and Finance for on-time payments to the suppliers
• First support level in Procurement to SCL Expediting team in the shortages' management process
• Support to GCM & Lead Buyers in the supplier management: Identification of potential suppliers, supplier evaluation, etc.
  
  
• Support to GCM & Lead Buyers in the commodity management: Generation of cost-out ideas, gathering of regional commodity KPIs, etc

We are looking for someone who has technical experience and has a business education at minimum bachelor level in Engineering, Business Administration or EconomicsCandidates should preferably have 5+ years of experience in engineering, procurement and/or operations functions, ideally in a global organizationBeing familiar with common IT tools like the Office package or SAP is necessary It is also preferably to have knowledge of S2C-/ P2P-processes.
