OverviewThe Global Workplace Services organization is accountable for Supporting the Technologies that Drive Experience To be a Delivery lead the person will be a maker Though we may not produce code or designs, Delivery Leads contribute to the productivity of our teams and have a huge role in defining and shaping products & services, in collaboration with our customers and developers The Delivery Lead will focus to deliver new capabilities and projects for our service areas which include:
  • Digital Services - Ensuring our end users can communicate, collaborate and connect Services include Desktop Video Conferencing (Zoom), Desktop Collaboration (M365 Services) and Global Messaging.

  • Desktop Services - Any endpoint device (workstations, printers, mobile devices) which are deployed and supported across the Globe
  • Service Desk - Ensure our 250000+ Global end users can raise up requests & incidents related to our Business & IT Services
  • Communications & Service Excellence - Ensuring we have the best possible end user experience
Today we have over 6 projects in flight (total budget: $10MM) with a strong pipeline for the next few years ResponsibilitiesThe person is not someone who is heads down in code, but has a solid grasp of the entire product development life cycle, from initial concept and requirements elicitation all the way through deployment and maintenance.

Manage a delivery team to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries:
  • Managing project managers plus onshore and offshore developers and consultants to build/maintain required development capability
  • Work closely with stakeholders and external delivery partners to understand the business requirements and drive the development of high-quality technical solutions
  • Perform customer negotiations to ensure Customer Expectations are understood and managed
  • Contribute to solution design, identifying innovative solutions to business requirements, driving standardisation and re-usability
  • Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, security to ensure design and build are fully aligned to business requirements.

  • Manage the development and application maintenance activities
  • Drive Quality assurance & delivery
  • Ensure that team maintains high level of competence and operational excellence
  • Where needed Assist in writing and updating technical documentation
  • Be an active participant in architecture, design, and code reviews
  • Review requirements and plan and coordinate delivery activities
  • Build positive and productive working relationships with customers for business growth
  • Analyze and troubleshoot delivery issues in a timely fashion.

  • Make critical business decisions to meet customer expectations

  • Perform resource allocations and workload assignments according to delivery requirements
  • Develop process improvements to achieve cost effectiveness and time saving
  • Develop scope and budget for delivery projects
  • Report delivery status to customers and develop required delivery documentations
QualificationsYears of experience
  • 10+ Years Experience in Delivering IT Solutions, Products &/or services
  • 5+ Years Project Management
  • 5+ Years People Management
  • 5+ Years Vendor Management Support
Mandatory technical skills
  • Experience working in a managed service environment.

  • Require knowledge and background in product management, software engineering, software quality assurance, technical writing
  • Possesses significant knowledge of development design principles
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the full Software Delivery Lifecycle
  • Experience in designing application customisation and integration
  • Experienced in the design of technical solutions and integration.

  • Strong technical project management skills in agile and/or Waterfall
  • Must have strong team management ability, influencing and organizational awareness
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge or ITIL Foundations V3 practices or higher
  • Managed Programs & Project using an Agile Methodology (SAFE, Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, etc)
  • Minimum of 10 years of related IT business work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in systems management or related field
  • Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills
  • Possess good project management skills, develop project plans, and provide project status updates as required
  • Solid understanding of IT Service Management processes (Incident, Problem, & Change)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast pace and demanding work environment
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts and translate into to non-technical language.

  • Good collaboration and partnership skills to foster key relationships with other technology, application and business teams
  • Solid foundation in IT operational concepts and procedures
