Well versed with Program Management in context of Design (aesthetics) projects in an automotive OEMProject management experience dealing with time, cost, and resource planning in con-text of Design development and realizationVery good understanding of design development and functions involved - Creative De-sign, CMF, CAS, Studio engineering and Physical ModellingStrong communication skills with people of all levels and expertise.
Very good understanding of NPI processes in context of DesignVery good knowledge of MS Project to plan and track design program and tools like MS Excel, Power point to manage communicationAn individual, who works with minimal supervision, demonstrating tenacity, drive, and perseverance with the ability to deliver programme in a highly demanding environmentA resilient and enthusiastic individual who responds constructively to new ideas and in-putsEducationWork ExperienceRelevant Experience: 12+ Yrs.
of experience in a global automobile OEM as Project Lead/Design Program Management role in at least two complete programs Key Responsibilities:Responsible for project management of all design deliverables in accordance with the NPI product de-velopment systemAct as Design SPOC for assigned design programs Represent Design at key programme forums and en-sure key planning and status documents are created and maintainedDiscuss all programme assumptions and Detail out plan of all resource, materials, and outsource spend requirements based on cycle plan Work with Functional Heads to align these requirements.
Monthly monitoring and tracking of resource and material and outsource spend requirements wrt ac-tual planManage design meeting cadence to ensure the Design project team are aware of project timing and deliverablesEnsure all deliverables are clearly informed, understood, and the required forums are in place and correctly managed to escalate and resolve issuesWork closely with the Design, CAS, studio engg, CMF and Modelling teams to ensure efficient delivery This includes management of content, timing, review cadence, as well as an understanding of associat-ed costs.
