BU:EDRC (Solar)Position Title:DraftsmanReports to (Job - Role): Design LeadReported by (Job - Role): -Education: Diploma in Electrical/MechanicalExperience:3- 5years, experience of Detailing in Solar Power plant ,Substations ,Wind Power , Oil and Gas Minimum 3 Years working knowledge of AUTOCADObjective: The person shall be responsible for Carrying out detailing of engineering of Electrical works of Solar Power plants like Mini Grid and Mega watt scales plants ,roof top plants The Draft Engineer is responsible for carrying out the entire Detailing for a project or a set of smaller projects including co-ordination with other disciplines viz, instrumentation ,Civil and MechanicalDraft Engineer shall work with a team of Design Coordinators ,Design Engineers to Carry out the detailing work for Engineering activities deliver on time and maintaining a high quality of Drawings and DocumentationKey Responsibilities:

• Receiving Inputs of Detailing from Design Engineers
• Preparation of detailed drawing based on the type of technology & restriction & selection of mounting
• Preparation of detail drawings for all Electrical equipmentsDocumentation of records for all the projects as per Quality
• Preparation of checklist of Drawings for Review purpose
• Submission of Drawings to design Engineer for review
• Corrections and Comments updated from Site Inputs
• Preparing BOQ and material with respect to design Inputs
• Ensuring Submission of detailed Engineering docs as per DCI

Technical Expertise:

• Basic Electrical knowledge of Substation (battery, inverter, solar PV modules, Cabling, SLD (evacuation SLDs).
  
  Awareness of latest technology (Crystalline & main frame), type of mounting for erection & commissioning of Solar Power plants

Operating Network:

• Internally : Design Engineers , Leads , SCM(Rarely), proposal team,
• External : Vendors

Key Performance Indicators:

• On Time Delivery, Quality control, Quantity of deliverables(Drawings), Internal Process, Development of Product , innovation(New idea implementation), Value Engineering ,Learning & Growth

Software Skills Required:

• Awareness of AUTOCAD ,MSOFFICE , Sketchup
• Generation evaluation: PVSYST, Database (Irradiance): metomorm
