What you'll learn & achieve:Working closely with the Segment leader and Global team, the Engineer will be responsible for Project execution, Project management for various customer projects, Customer management and expanding UL Solutions Renewables Certification services in India and worldwide Key responsibilities are,

• As an International by DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065 accredited Certification Body for Wind Turbine Certification you will be Part of a growing Team in a desirable business to ensure the Quality of produced Wind Turbines and electrical power by decentralized and renewable energies
• Electrical and Control & Protection System evaluation of wind turbines according to international standards like IEC 61400 and IECRE
• Evaluation of Electrical and Control system related prototype test results according to IEC 61400-22 or other relevant standards like IECRE
• Inspection of manufacturers facilities to witness electrical components tests and manufacturing evaluation of wind turbines components.
  
  
• Communication with business partners in India and abroad
• Optional Evaluation of grid connection requirements test results and analysiswith commercialized modelling and simulation tools (for exampleDIgSILENTPower Factory,MathworksMATLAB/Simulink andSimPowerSystemsor similar)
• Creation of high quality evaluation reports to document your results in a scientific way
• Perform other duties as directed

What makes you a great fit:

• Masters or Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Power System / Control System Engineering / Grid Integration, or any equivalent field
• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in the field of electrical components evaluation or wind turbines or renewable energy industry
• Hands-on experience on electrical components testing and inspection, international grid connection requirements, are desirable
• A Plus would be to have first Experience in commercialized modelling and simulation tools (for exampleDIgSILENTPower Factory,MathworksMATLAB/Simulink andSimPowerSystemsor similar)
• Willingness to travel (within India and outside the country)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good communication skills (English speaking and writing)
• Customer focus, commitment, and independent work
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to work in a fast-paced certification environment
• Ability and willingness to develop and expand business
