Job Overview:Global Function Technology (GFT) delivers innovative technology solutions and key global platforms for Citi's Global Functions division These solutions enable Citi to comply with regulatory mandates and empower our businesses to achieve their goals, both current and long-termOur products and initiatives adhere to Citi's strategic architecture and support the end-to-end integration of multiple global functions within the bank including Finance, Risk, and ControlsThe GFT Finance Accounting Program is a multiyear initiative which will evolve Citi's Accounting landscape, consolidating disparate flows into a Central Platform, evolving our Finance ecosystem The program spans the entire of the Citi organization with stakeholders in Finance, Operations, Technology and the Chief Data Office.

The Senior Business Analyst is a position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planningResponsibilities:

• Define business requirements and systems goals through partnership with decision makers, systems owners and end users
• Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions
• Analyze business processes, gaps in capabilities, as well as appropriate data sources, interfaces and process changes required to address capability gaps
• Generate and compile reports based on findings, including probable causes and potential solutions to systems issues
• Provide advice and counsel related to technology or operations of the business, ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards
• Prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources and perform other duties and functions as assigned
• Appropriately assess risk and impact when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Experience:

• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Proven ability of using complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques, to synthe and present complex information to stakeholders of various levels
• Stakeholder management across multiple geographies and functions, as well as demonstrated ability to build a strong collaborative relationships that culminate in a delivery track record
• Experience of Accounting and/or Ledger implementations and Corporate Finance organization and ideally experience of working on a Finance transformation program
• Knowledge of retail and/or investment banking products and lifecycle
• You should have a passion for technology and be conversant with industry direction, leading products and trends and a track record of having successfully delivered competitive advantage through technology services
• Experience with Oracle/SAP desirable but not mandatory
• Experience in delivering regulatory projects is desirable but not mandatory

Qualifications:

• 12-15 years of experience in business or system analysis preferably in Accounting & GL Systems implementation

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
