Overview
  • Direct plant-wide Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Management System (OHSAS18001, ISO14001 and GEHSMS) to ensure that all operations in the plant meet applicable legal / regulation requirements, PepsiCo policies and standards
  • Drive to achieve all PGCS and Plant level EHS objectives / KPIs as the key owner, including Recon (Water + Energy) and Waste water & Landfill waste rate targets
  • Act as the Plant Level Emergency Response Team Coordinator to ensure all Crisis Management procedures being executed, trained and drilled
  • Maintain good public relationships with local relevant Governmental Authorities and other stake holders from EHS perspective
  • Communicate with PGCS Support center and India Region Business Units for regular reporting / updates, initiatives / programs implementation and local supporting.

Responsibilities
  • EHS Manager:
  • System Building and Optimization - Direct plant-wide Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Management System (OHSAS18001, ISO14001 and GEHSMS) to ensure that all operations in the plant meet applicable legal / regulation requirements, PepsiCo policies and standards

  5. Good Catch / Near Miss Reported
  6. EHS Training Hours
  7. Top 5 High Risk Close Rate
  8. Landfill Waste Rate
  9. Recon - Water
  10. Recon - Energy
  11. Annual External Audit for OHSAS18001 and ISO 14001
  12. Global Corporate Audit for GEHSMS once per 3 Years
  • Lead and ensure timely internal / external audits, management objective / target reviews for OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, GEHSMS, local Hazardous Material Safety Standardization and drive for continuous improvement
  • Continuously adopt both PGCS and local EHS related guidelines, standards, rules, regulations and legal requirements to ensure all operations achieving regulation / legal compliance
  • Drive to achieve all PGCS and Plant level EHS objectives / KPIs as the key owner
  • Work with PGCS and plant wide cross-functional teams to achieve Recon (Water + Energy) targets.

  • Work closely with PGCS and FM to conduct Loss Prevention Capex Programs / Projects based on FM Risk Assessment Report
  • Act as the Plant Level Emergency Response Team Coordinator to endure all Crisis Management procedures being
  • Communicate with regional support center for regular reporting / updates, initiatives / programs implementation and local support
  • Act as the plant level Hazardous Material Coordinator and MyEHS Web-based System Coordinator to ensure legal / standard compliance from Hazardous Material perspective and EHS perspective
  • Work with local Governmental Authorities to achieve compliance from all aspects as the local Safety Direct Owner and Waste Water Treatment Plant License Holder
  • Ensure timely and successful Plant Safety Production Permit renewal on 3 years basis to meet both legal requirement and business needs.

  • Maintain good public relationships with local relevant Governmental Authorities and other concerned Stake Holders from EHS perspective, keep close communication timely and accurately
  • Work as EHS expert at plant level to lead plant cross-functional safety risk identification & assessment, control measures implementation and continuous improvement
  • Lead and conduct annual EHS Capex Project to continuously improve Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental aspects
  • Evaluates Plant Security status and establishes security procedures to ensure security and confidentiality
  • EHS BPT Execution
  • Support Safety Committee Meeting and lead Safety Committee Executive Council meeting on regular basis.

  • Drive long term Proactive Safety Management Policy on plant wide level
  • Implement and sustain Proactive Risk Identification & Assessment Program and Effective EHS Training Mechanism Program on long term basis
  • Coordinate good catch, near miss, recordable case, accident / incident investigation or EHS gap analysis to drive for corrective actions and timely closure rate
  • Provide timely and accurate monthly PBR Report, Dept Report to Supply Chain and other related Reporting to PGCS H&S and Environmental Manager.

  • Sustain long term Manager / Supervisor Daily Safety Inspection practice
  • Keep up-to-date with national and international standards, regulatory and legal requirement from EHS perspective
  • Support Energy / Water Saving Recon initiatives implementation in the plant
  • Responsible for critical EHS facilities, ie.

    : Fire-Fighting Detection & Alarming System, Chemical Registration System, MSDS Distribution System and Emergency Response System
  • Organize annual safety / security audits and close the findings timely
  • Manage the performance of security guards team to guarantee company's security
  • Implement 3-Level-EHS-Training system to achieve EHS Awareness Training / Knowledge sharing
  • Control EHS Dept.

    MOH according to company AOP Target
  • Deliver safety induction training to new employees, contractors and visitors and sustain safety refresher training to meet corporate requirements
  • Maintain Lost Time Injury=0, Recordable Case=0, no occupational illness and achieve other PGCS and Site EHS KPIs under challenging situation of continuous business operation scope expanding, complexity & volume increasing and with high Turn-around Rate of front-line operators
  • Take major responsibility to ensure Plant Level Safety Production as the Safety Production Permit Chief Owner
  • Keep the pace of meeting PepsiCo, PGCS and local EHS standards, regulations and legal requirement and ensure compliance from all perspective.

  • Build and maintain good working relationship with various Governmental Authorities and other concerned Stakeholdersexecuted, trained and drilled
Qualifications
  • College degree or higher degree in food, chemicals, H&S or environmental science, engineering or other related fields
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in manufacturing industry At least 3 years EHS management experience in multi-national company Operation experience will be a plus
  • Be familiar with EHS Management System: experiences on OHSAS18001, ISO14001, Hazardous Chemicals Safety Standardization, Clean Production are preferable
