The IT Business Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning IT Business Intermediate Analyst role is part of Citi's operational risk management - Technology team, which is responsible for design, develop, implement, and enhance the enterprise applications using agile methodology to support operational risk managementResponsibilities:

• Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects and foster communication between business leaders and IT
• Act as an intermediary between the business users and technology team for implementing the suite of operational risk management applications
• Consult with users and clients to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems and industry standards and recommends solutions
• Analyze the requirements and translate the requirements into user stories in Jira tool and get it approved
• Support system change processes from requirements through implementation and provide input based on analysis of information
• Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  
  
• Support in all the phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ensure that the requirements are implemented as per the business requirements
• Interact/work with developers and quality analysts based in different locations and ensure that they understood the business/system requirements well as well as address their queries
• Collaborate with professional UI/UX designers in finalizing the wireframes
• Recommend appropriate innovative technology solutions/enhancements to currents systems by analyzing the business process and systems
• Responsible for reviewing and approving the system integrations testing test scenarios/cases
• Gain an in-depth understanding in operational risk systems/process and utilize the knowledge to solve the problems
• Adopt Agile practices

Experience/knowledge:

• Minimum 6 years of IT business analysis experience in financial technology projects
• Experience in working on a large-scale global project
• Basic knowledge in operational risk domain, preferably within banking or financial services
• Experience in UI intensive Web Applications
• Experience in working with UX team to prepare wireframes/prototypes for Application
• Experience with agile methodology, especially writing user stories
• Should be able to write basic to mid-level SQL queries
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills
• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Proven ability to manage multiple activities and build/develop working relationships
• Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail

Education:

• Bachelor's degree (like BE, B Tech)
• MBA degree preferred
• BA/PO certifications like CBAP, CSPO, PSPO will be an added advantage, not mandatory
