Lead Business Execution Consultant Occupational Safety And Health Job In The Wells Fargo Foundation In Chennai, Bengaluru / Bangalore

This role is accountable for:

• Defining expectations and guidelines for clear understanding across all stakeholders
• Clarifying roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities
• Performing regular monitoring of processes, resources, and program adherence
• Partnering with the business lines and other enterprise functions including, Risk & Insurance Management, Corporate Properties Group and Corporate Security to promote a safe and healthy environment
• Providing accurate, timely and relevant information, instruction, and training to all employees
• Ensuring that workplace incidents and injuries are appropriately and accurately reported and recorded
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, regulations, and standards
• Supporting Identification, evaluation, correction, and prevention of workplace hazards
• Support the development of Occupational Safety & Health policies and programs
• Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics
• Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation
• Willingness to travel across locations, 30% of the time

Required Qualifications

• Any Graduate with overall experience of 15+ years
• 10+ years of experience in handling Occupational Safety and Health for Organizations
• Experience in managing Facilities and Admin functions
• Knowledge of Shops and Establishments act of relevant states, Ministry of Labour and Employment's The Occupational Safety, Health, and Working Conditions Code, 2019 and applicable jurisdictional legislation, regulations, and standards with regards to occupational safety and health standards
• Subject matter expert in safety and health programs

Desired Skills

• Certification in Occupational Safety and Health
• Diligent with great attention to detail
• Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
• Ability to coordinate and partner with cross functional teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain safety and health topics
• Proficient in MS Office
• Experience in writing reports for and policies for health and safety
