Fantastic opportunity to join SeaShell Hotel Resorts Spa, the best hotel chain in the beautiful A & N Islands Now is an exciting time to join as A & N Islands are experiencing tremendous growth We are looking for a professional maintenance manager to be responsible for managing all the electrical and mechanical aspects of the hotel for delivering a smooth and strong backend support for the hotel operations, preferably with 08 years' experience in the hotel industry, out of which a minimum of 02 year or more as senior technician or equivalent level You will be technically 'hands on' with all aspects of IT infrastructure in the organisation B.
Tech (Electrical or Mechanical) Should have led a diverse team and achieved positive results Has to be dynamic/proactive in nature, ability to prioritize the work, effective delegation and follow-up of the tasks Has to coordinate with all the departments to ensure smooth functioning of all the equipments and machinery, preventive maintenance is done and downtime is kept to a minimum Will be the one point contact for the management.
1Inspect buildings, equipment and appliances for functionality, checking for faults and fixing them where they exist to keep all things running and functioning properly; also, make provision for replacement of old and damaged appliances 2Create and implement property maintenance policies and standards to serve as guide to other property workers in a bid to prevent misuse of property appliances which could result to damage 3Develop and maintain a good relationship with contractors, vendors, and site workers to get the best bargains on property repairs, supplies, and maintenance 4.
Ensure that properties are safe and void of any danger to their occupants, visitors, and workers by putting away harmful objects and equipment, and putting in place machinery to handle emergencies, such as fire outbreaks; and create exit routes with proper direction for easy location during emergencies 5Diagnose problems with appliances and facilitate their prompt repairs for the convenience of property users, and carry out repairs on minor problems, such as light fixtures, clogged toilets, leakages, peeling wall and furniture 6Check electrical wiring for accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards to avoid accidents 7Maintain open communication with property owners, liaising with consultants and property managers for information regarding operations, renovations, and authorizations 8Design plan and schedule for works to be executed on properties 9.
Conduct training for new maintenance workers to get them acquainted with the job 10Working knowledge of elevators/lifts, AC (Split, cassette, ductable) STPs, solar water heaters, CCTVs
