• Lead budgeting activities in line with SBG goals
• Meet budgeted financials by monitoring, review & timely course correction
• Digitalise review mechanism by use of dashboards & dynamic metrics
• Reviews with Senior Management

• Identify new business opportunities for Markets, Products, Technology
• Sustained growth alignment in line with Strategic Goals
• Intensive interaction with Customers for market trends, plans and expectations
• Drive product / technology initiatives through in-house development or technology tie-ups

• Identify new markets by means of analysis, in depth engagements with external stakeholders
• Explore opportunities & establish market penetration strategy

• Engage with various Customer organisations, viz, MoD, DPSUs, DRDO and International Customers for:
• Bid management
• Negotiations & Contract finalization
• Contract Management & Customer engagement
• Management of Net Working Capital (Collections / Outstanding)

• Organisation building, Learning & Development
• Talent identification & acquisition
• Training, Development, enhanced responsibilities
• Resource optimisation
• Role model / Lead by example

• Strategic Planning
• Year-wise action plan till implementation
• Regular reviews at BU level
• Annual reviews with Senior Management
• Engage proactively with Policy Makers (MoD, Services, DRDO)

• Identify branding / publicity opportunities
• Explore optimal ROI for advertising expenses in consultation with brand management team
• Lead activities towards identification, planning & execution of presence of Defence IC in major domestic & international exhibitions
• Guide conceptualisation & realisation of marketing collaterals for IC
• Engage with Customers for evolving optimal ROI & publicity for L&T
