They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures Job ObjectiveWe are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager, with specific experience with Outsourced/Contact Centre Services You will build positive relationships with internal business partners to run activities that facilitate vendor selection processes, effective negotiations of agreements, and ongoing contract and vendor management support to deliver continuous cost savings, performance, and process improvement to the business Responsibilities

• Act as trusted adviser to business partners in the vendor sourcing process, communicating strategic approach for vendor negotiations and/or ongoing projects.
  
  
• Develop sophisticated sourcing strategies for Company's Contact Centers
• Lead full range of projects from transactional to complex, spanning all types of third party services Identify data and research resources in the industry Supervise competitive landscape and identify emerging vendor candidates and staffing approaches
• Partner with internal organizations to: define requirements assist with identifying vendors lead RFx process and evaluations provide vendor evaluation framework and make recommendations on vendor selection
• Write and redline commercial components of service contracts, statements of work, and software as a service and licensing agreements.
  
  
• Conduct analysis, coordinate key partner participation (Legal, Tax, Information Security, Finance, etc) and complete supporting administrative processes
• Facilitate efforts across multiple products/brands as well as multiple geographies in developing solutions to problems
• Build, communicate, and initiate sourcing project work plan and timeline Identify supporting efforts, dependencies or barriers Identify and track any sourcing issues, supervise and report progress
• Complete a portfolio of projects that are large and critical initiatives, as well as some transactional support

What your background should look like:

• Bachelor of Engineer degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  
  
• 15 to 18 years of professional experience with focus on Machining
• Experience in vendor management, and/or contract negotiations and outsouring customer service operations

• Contact Centre pricing model knowledge
• Must handle high pressure and work with quick timelines with high levels of ambiguity
• Strong intuition for business, analytical and interpersonal skills with a high degree of attention to detail
• Assist with risk analysis to identify issues (financial, operational and/or regulatory) and develop risk mitigation strategy.
  
  Communicate risks and alternative mitigation strategies to business owners and partners
• Standout colleague who can work independently while prioritizing his/her own work and resources
• Capable of working with abstract concepts and optimally presenting conceptual topics to others
• Demonstrated experience in global corporate indirect procurement and/or outsourced contact center
