1 LSTK / EPC experience is mandatory2 End-to-end supply management of respective category materials / services within parameters of targeted cost, quality and time, while participating in category management activities as directed by the Procurement / Service Lead3 Formulate the respective category procurement / service strategyi.

Provide inputs for formulation of procurement strategyii Initiate & Utilize annual rate contract with the category suppliers / contractors4 Guide Buyer/ Senior Buyer in undertaking respective category management related activities.

5 Provide inputs for annual SCM planning & budgetingi Provide pricing inputs for development of an annual procurement budgetii Review the approved Budget and make necessary changes in the respective materials / services plan.

iii Analyse spend vs budget on a regular basis to capture variations, and develop actions plans to bring spend under control, if required6 Undertake activities for sourcing events, vendor identification, techno- commercial negotiation and vendor selection Manage timely delivery of the materials / services.

7 Monitor SCM dashboards for delivering targeted operational performance levels8 Develop and manage vendor / contractor relationships for the respective categoryi Implement specific programs for cost reduction & quality control for vendors.

ii Monitor & report vendor performance and compliance with respect to contracted SLAsiii Consolidate vendor base and institute powerful vendor development processesiv.

Uphold ethical values in SCM dealings and operations in line with the corporate values9 Use technology extensively to increase efficiency & control costsi Use the SAP system optimally to drive efficiency and cost optimization in the entire procure-to-pay transaction processii.

Focus on usage of technological tools like SRM, e-auction and reverse auction to improve efficiency, bring down costs and improve transparency
