The daily role of the successful candidate will be working on a variety of tasks from new website builds, content upload to adding new functionality to our existing sites or fixing bugs Writing code in one or more programming or scripting languages, such as PHP or JavaScript, Jquery, HTML 5, XHTML and CSS3 Testing sites in different browsers and environments Problem-solving Fixing bugs in existing projects.

Testing new features thoroughly to ensure they perform the correct task in all cases Reviewing colleagues code Building and maintaining PHP function like CMS, searching and shopping cart functions Create and develop new A/B tests to increase site conversion rate Executing dev tasks required by other members of the team, including those from Design, Marketing, and Operations departments.

Helping to drive forward and deliver on exciting new web-based technologies to drive forward the business, including custom builds and apps Optimizing areas of the business with web development Integrating with third party API’s and software platforms Skills: Experience with front end/web technologies: Javascript, HTML5, Jquery, AJAX, CSS3, Sass and Photoshop Strong working knowledge and experience of PHP & SQL Pro-active and relishes the challenge of overcoming technical obstacles A desire to develop current skills and learn new ones A forward thinking approach to web development Ability to manage your own workload effectively and meet deadlines, milestones, and goals set throughout the project An enthusiastic and can-do attitude Ability to present examples of previous work Understanding of Sass and CSS Compilers Previous experience with Wordpress & Prestashop Skills and experience with development for online retail/e-commerce Knowledge of website optimization and SEO UX and CX knowledge and experience Work Exp: Previous content management system like Prestashop, with an understanding of usability function and customer journey.
