Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Conclusion on product requirement considering Customer need Concept Feasibility Defining the key product Attributes and agrrement with PMG for its positioning Vehicle architeture & design considering market needs, engineering limitation and modularity within platform .

Interaction with Various Engineering COEs, Collectig all engineering/Design inputs and prepare overall plan for Technology/Concept projects Budget estimate & co-ordination for concept demostration and performance evaluation Interaction with Product Planning / Customers to create and design vehicle level architeture as per customer need (told/ untold) and conceptulising product before detailed design To achieve modularity / standardization yet addressing diverse requirements Benchmarking, Target Setting, DVP conclusion .

Quality DMU, DFA, DFS, DFM EBOM release & control Awareness of current & future homologation requirements to enable homologation compliance are considered during design stage by collecting the data from homologation group , sorting it out system wise and handling over to respective system engg ExperienceBE / B Tech - 8-10yrs ME / M Tech - 6 to 8 yrs Industry PreferredCV Industry QualificationsBE / B Tech, ME / M Tech General Requirements Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle, Trucks & buses and their application .

Strong knowledge of Future technology , trends and competition Strong knowledge of vehicle performance, customer touch points, OPECOs Strong knowledge of aggregates & their integration Strong understanding of Current and Future Regulations Ability to set FI targets and road map to achieve the same .

Understanding of RWUP, RLTD and linkage with virtual tools Knowledge of Problem solving techniques & its application Global 8D, fish bone, ishikawa process CATIA, DFMEA, QFD,DR Ability to analyze data, spread sheets and level analysis
