• Sound understanding about various piping systems, components & its functionalities
• Good knowledge of Daimler Bus product portfolio
• Sound Design & development knowledge for Fuel & AdBlue Piping
• Hands on Experience on product/layout development and its documentation in NX
• Hands on Experience on Product Design Software like NX & PLM software like Smaragd
• Drawing creation of Piping & brackets
• Piping diagrams and Installation Drawings
• Well aware about Vehicle architecture/surrounding components
• Understanding variant layout creation based on various codes
• Assignment of Codes, assemblies to DMU and its release
• Management of DMU Product Structure
• Should have good knowledge of manufacturing methods Sheet metal, Molding
• Should have good knowledge of assembly process, system level knowhow
• Should ensure design process/ design guidelines for piping, material selection
• Should participate in DFMEA and other programs to improve the design
• Raising Prototype and Testing requests
• Supplier & Procurement team interactions
• Value addition through Cost and Weight optimization proposal
• Interactions with and managing Internal Stakeholders (Cross Functional Interactions)
• Awareness about System Specific Regulations (Country Specific)
• Independent execution of responsibilities (Project delivery management)
• Added Advantage - German Language Knowledge

• Bachelor or master in mechanical/automobile engineering/ production engineering
