Raw Material Sourcing Purchase Executive Job In Confidential In Mumbai

Purchase Executive RM Sourcing To carry out Raw Material Sourcing & Logistics for the company in an efficient & cost-effective manner with the help of a team The job responsibilities includes but are not limited to: Review & monitoring RM Requirement plan and act on purchase requisition and ensure material connectivity as per production plan Floating Enquires/RFQ & getting quotation from vendors Comparing and evaluating offers received from suppliers, negotiating best contract terms of agreement and pricing Preparing Comparative Statement & getting approval from CMD for the same Preparing Purchase Order in ERP & get it approved from approval authority Send approved PO to vendor and follow up for timely delivery of material Establish and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and on time delivery Alternate potential vendor development for single sourced product Maintain RM Tracker Updating due date in supplier invoice in erp Follow up for Account Ledgers with vendors Follow with Account Team for timely vendor payments.

Ensure transporter bill booking Coordination with cross functional team for resolving issues and smooth functioning of purchase function Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Executive or similar role Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors) Hands-on experience with purchasing software (eg ERP) Understanding of supply chain procedures, Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses Negotiation skills Excellent interpersonal communication skills, leadership qualities Candidate must be a self-starter and a team player.

Quick learner Must be willing to take additional responsibility and to work in different schedules as needed Good knowledge Computers, Internet, MS-Office (including PowerPoint & Outlook) is essential MBA / Materials Management + Bachelors Degree in Chemistry / Chem Engg OR Commerce from reputed academic institutes with 5-10 years of experience with a reputed Chemical / Pharma / AgroChem / Dyes / Intermediates or Specialty Chemicals Company, good analytical & leadership skills
