The Kerala State Higher Education Council has invited application from first year degree students in Science, Social Science, Humanities and Business studies Scholarshipsfor the year 2018-2019
Eligibility :Graduation in Science, Social Science, Humanities, Business Studies in Kerala Govt / Aided Arts & Science College, University Education, Aided Non Professional Courses in first year Graduation Students in India
Minimum Qualification : Applicants should have passed +2 with 55% marks in Science subject and 45% for other subjects Those belonging to the SC require only 45%
Scholarship Amount :
Eligible students will receive a Scholarship of Rs 12000/-, Rs.
18000/- and Rs 24000/- respectively for the Ist, IInd and IIIrd year of the degree courses

About Kshec Kerala State Higher Education Council
This is a 33 member body consisting of the Chief Minister, Minister for Education, Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Minister for Law, Minister for Agriculture, representatives of the members of the Parliament from the State, members of the State legislature (with reservation for SC/ST, and woman) , members of three tier Panchayats, members of Municipalities, members of Corporations and eminent personalities from different walks of life . The Advisory Council will be responsible for giving guidance to the Council and to evaluate and suggest corrective measures to ensure the proper functioning of the Council.
