Are you ready to make a difference Role Purpose Primary role focus of the Senior Buyer is to provide cross-divisional category expertise for site/country/cluster, to proactively carry out continuous analyses, frequently re-align the local activities with the global category strategy as well as support the strategy execution in the assigned area The role supports continuous improvement and leads implementation of updates/refresh of global/regional category strategy in collaboration with the site/country/category teams The role is also responsible for the collection of supplier, market, category and internal business data and information Ensures the delivery of measurable value for Sandoz, through alignment of business requirements, strategic sourcing expertise, supplier market intelligence, financial productivity and mitigation of risk.

The Senior Buyer supports data quality management within Procurement function according to the globally defined process to identify opportunities and to support continuous improvement and assures the delivery of services according to defined KPIs and Service Levels Your Key Responsibilities - Leads sourcing plan implementation in area of responsibility through change planning, negotiation, contract development, etc - Actively contribute to the identification of business critical opportunities resulting in process improvement, savings generation- Contract drafting based on agreed templates- Full terms and conditions or contractual terms negotiation.

- Contracts search and reporting - Contracts check against defined procedures (eg amendments stored correctly)- Collect supplier, market, category and internal business data.

- Perform complex matter and vendor level spend analysisDiversity & Inclusion / EEO Minimum Requirements - Master's Degree/other advanced degree in the Economics, Finance or related areas is preferred- English (excellence in speaking and writing), additional languages desirable- >5 years of relevant experience in a global environment in a similar position- Proven experience in spend reporting, analysis and optimization.

- Experience with eSourcing tools - Good understanding of Procurement business processes such as Tactical Buying, Catalogue Management, Contract Management, Supplier Setup and Procurement Operations- Excellent communication, people management, stakeholder management and leadership skills- Advanced Analytical & Conceptual thinking, organizational skills, results oriented and proactive Why Sandoz 500 million patients were touched by Sandoz generic and biosimilar medicines in 2021 and while we're proud of this, we know there is more we could do to continue to help pioneer access to medicines for people around the world.
