Senior Database Engineer Assistant Vice President Job In State Street Corporation In India, Bengaluru / Bangalore

• The candidate is required to quickly learn the existing DB Engineering solutions and work on enhancements to make the platform more efficient
• Design and develop Oracle PL/SQL, AWS Redshift solutions including but not limited to DDL artefacts following the organization's deployment processes
• Troubleshoot and fix DDL issues
• Participate in the database design & modeling discussions for on premise and cloud databases, eg Oracle, PostgreSQL and Redshift and work on PL/SQL development for On Prem/Cloud databases

• 10+ years of IT experience with 3-5 years of relevant experience in AWS ecosystem, AWS Solution Architect certification is a plus
• Excellent working knowledge of AWS services like S3, EC2, Amazon Aurora, RDS, Redshift
• Excellent working knowledge of PL/SQL, Stored Procedures on Oracle, Postgres and Redshift
• Expert in performance tuning, query optimization, large scale data analytics
• Strong OLTP, data warehousing design and development skills
• Knowledge of Database Modeling and Design for Enterprise Data Warehousing (star, snowflake modelling)
• Good scripting knowledge in either Python or Shell
• Databricks knowledge is a plus
• Business Intelligence knowledge is plus
