About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Operational Risk SpecialistThe 'Senior Operational Risk Specialist' will be responsible for supporting the QA Lead in the development and automation of a QA Data Validation Process for CRRA and responsible for handling the quality assurance and assesses problems and issues to ensure activities follow the necessary internal and external regulatory and risk management practices Regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.

Leads reviews including analysis and trending of findings, proposed recommendations for change to impact future quality and reporting on resultsIn this role, you will:

• Be a part of the Independent Quality Assurance team, which sits within the larger Corporate Risk Reporting & Analysis (CRRA) group
• Perform report level and dashboard testing based on quality assurance standards
• Reconcile CRRA report values to authoritative data sources based on business requirements
• Perform independent recalculations to ensure accuracy of information presented
• Review and challenge, as necessary, the comprehensiveness and clarity of report requirements
• Review dashboard logic to ensure agreement to business requirements and its ability to produce the end user request
• Review report content to align with quality control guidance
• Maintain rapport with reporting team to understand report changes
• Provide reporting of results timely and thoroughly to reporting team

Required Qualifications:Our ideal candidate will clearly demonstrate the following experience, knowledge and/or abilities :

• 6-8 years of Operational Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to build rapport across CRRA teams
• Keen eye for thorough execution
• Understanding of business intelligence and workflow tools (Power BI, Tableau, JIRA, etc)
• SQL, Python, and SAS experience
• Ability to automate test scripts to achieve efficiencies
• Ability to communicate clearly to different levels of the organization
