The impact you will have in this role: The Senior UC Automation Engineer will be providing overall design, engineering, and project work for all technologies responsible to the unified communication team The position requires in-depth experience in designing, implementing, automating, and administering new and existing technologies to help drive the organization strategy within unified communication space which include M365 administration, MS Teams, SMTP relay, Cisco Iron port, anti-virus/anti-spam, workflow deployments and exploring/implementing new ways to automate future and current work streams Your Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform Daily/Weekly/Quarterly Health checks to ensure overall availability and stability of all Messaging and Collaboration Infrastructure technologies supported
• Provide senior level support which includes resolve incidents and escalation of aforementioned systems.
  
  Collaborate with internal support groups to increase efficiency of 1st/2nd level call resolution as well as minimizing support escalation of incidents or problems with process improvement or automation
• Perform client level troubleshooting within a hybrid ecosystem for Office 365 services which includes, Exchange online, MS Teams, SharePoint online, OneDrive, MS Intune, and mail routing
• Engineer and develop tools and scripts for automating daily administration tasks, and proactive monitoring
• Support and coordinate scheduling and execution of daily, weekly, monthly, system maintenance, release updates, upgrades, fine tuning, and/or new technology deployments
• Manage and lead infrastructure projects or tasks (upgrades, migrations, maintenance, and new technology) to completion with minimal supervision.
  
  
• Document all aspects of all systems, including maintenance, troubleshooting, deployment, disaster recovery, technotes, and testing, etc
• Perform and participate in capacity planning, disaster recovery testing, component testing, etc
• Evaluation of new feature or product technologies producing comprehensive analysis and recommendation
• Participate in 24/7 On-Call rotation

Qualifications:

• Experience in administrating office 365, Microsoft related technologies such as Azure, Saas services and Cisco IronPort.
  
  
• Experience and proficient in scripting language such as Python, MS graph, and PowerShell to automate daily administration and engineering procedures
• Working knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory, VMware, SAN, and different hardware architectures
• Working knowledge of network services such DNS, DHCP, SMTP, and LDAP directories, etc
• Cloud implementation experience for Messaging & Collaboration related services
• Demonstrated ability to lead business and technical discussions around the DTCC area.
  
  
• Excellent documentation, communication, and customer service skills
• Experience supporting Confluence (Desirable but not required)

Talents Needed for Success:

• 4 - 5 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
