• Commissioning of I&C systems in line with the Siemens Energy commissioning procedures in the area of GT/ST
• Inspection of the I&C scope for completeness and sufficient cleanliness during Turn-over package handover process
• Commissioning of GT/ST I&C components like:
  • I&C cabinets, automation processors, input-/output modules including protection circuits and interlocks
  • Bus systems for communication between I&C Components
  • Sensors (pressure, temperature, flow, positions, gas/steam-quality, etc)
  • Actuators (valves, fans, heaters, switchgears, )
  • Special Monitoring special equipment for turbine vibration and speed, HW-overspeed-protection-system
  • Protection System for GT and ST and Generator
  • For GT special equipment for flame monitoring
  • For ST: Bypass-Station-Control
• Commissioning of GT/ST governor components like:
  • Automation processors, input-/output modules, controller cards
  • Bus systems for communication between I&C and governor system
  • Sensors (pressure, temperature, flow, positions, acceleration, speed etc) related to the governor system
  • Actuators (stop- and control-valves, .
    
    ) related to the governor system
  • Special equipment for flame monitoring, acceleration/vibration monitoring
  • Fast recorder for GT/ST governor signals

• Controlled Initial Powering up of I&C cabinets
• Complete Loop Checks between field devices and into the SW of the T3000-System
• Checks of functionalities on the function diagrams
• Ensuring I&C Commissioning activities are conducted in the required sequence and according to a commissioning time schedule
• Ensuring governor commissioning activities are conducted in the required sequence and according to a commissioning time schedule
• For GT: DPTI implementation, Startup-optimization and tuning, part load / baseload optimization and tuning including pre-controls, load rejection tests, frequency response tests, fuel change over optimization if applicable
• For ST: Startup-optimization and tuning, part load / baseload optimization and tuning, load rejection tests, frequency response tests
• Support of process commissioning together with the process engineer
• Performing interlock checks and protection tests

• Fault finding in HW and SW in case of deficiencies in automation principles or in case of HW failures (devices, wires, connections, interferences)
• Trouble shooting, I&C-engineering-discrepancies within Siemens Energy scope of supply including interfaces to other scopes via PCM (product change management)
• Implementation and documentation of SW/HW changes required by engineering by the usage of the PCM tool
• Conducting 'on-the-job-training' to Employer's personnel
• Service for reporting disagreements or non-conformances to allow introduction of project-specific solutions and to ensure information feedback
• Ensuring Compliance with the environmental, fire protection and occupational health and safety regulations
• Completion of I&C commissioning documents and preparation of the associated commissioning documentation package, as well as redlining documents which have to reflect AS-BUILT conditions
• Revising of the operating manual regarding the own scope of commissioning.
  
  
• Usage of the official Siemens Energy communication tools (MS Outlook, MS Teams)

Qualification:

• Experience in GT/ST I&C commissioning
• Knowledge of the GT/ST and Generator area of power plant technology and the interfaces between the different areas of Plant Commissioning
• Experience with the Siemens Power Plant Automation System (SPPA-T3000)
• Experience in the governor structure and governor commissioning
• Experience with control valve commissioning, fast recorders
• English language in writing and speaking
• Technical qualification to interpret commissioning documentation and software
• EHS Training certification
• Electrically skilled person
• Explosion protection certification
