• Siemens Advanta (Bangalore) is looking for experienced Sr Hardware Engineer to develop hardware for their industrial and mobility business units The ideal teammate should be a technically strong, flexible, possess a strong work ethic and enjoy solving problems We value ownership and accountability as well as collaboration and support of our teammates in a diverse and inclusive environment.
  
  
• Primary Responsibilities includes electronic circuit design
• Design, testing and troubleshooting of prototype boards
• Work effectively both within the team and across other interdisciplinary teams to identify and resolve issues or propose new solutions
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers

What you need to make real what matter!

• We need a graduate BTech/BE or MTech/ME in ECE /EE/Instrumentation or equivalent degree with 8 to 10 years of experience in Embedded hardware design and development.
  
  
• Embedded Systems certification/training is appreciated
• Experience in system design, electronics design, architecture, testing and validation
• Experience developing complex measurement systems involving sensing, electronics, and signal conditioning
• Collaborate with mechanical, layout, and firmware engineers to successfully develop and validate the designs
• Interface with business unit colleagues to drive strong business cases for new products/features.
  
  
• Good understanding of ST or TI microcontrollers/microprocessors
• Strong design experience in analog, digital and power supply design
• Expertise in using LTspice and/or other simulation tools
• Knowledge related to Signal integrity, Power design, Thermal management, Compliance requirements/testing
• Knowledge of EDA Tools like Altium Designer / Mentor Graphics: Dx Designer, Xpedition /Zuken: CR8000
• Should be able to do and review schematics, review layouts and mechanical compatibility and develop board/system test plan.
  
  
• Possess strong board debug knowledge (HW/SW/FW)
• Hands-on with various instruments used for characterization and debugging electronics systems
• Ability to understand and debug problems across hardware boundaries
• Experience in Op-Amp, MOSFET, BJT, ADC, DAC, signal conditioning circuits, wireless designs like BLE/Bluetooth, WIFI, Zigbee, low-power design
• Hands-on experience and strong knowledge of EMI/EMC standards, Surge, ESD and environmental compliances.
  
  
• Experience in cost estimates, BOM cost analysis, obsolescence management etc
