Job DescriptionAs a Senior Software Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring stable and quality Acceptance solution strategic client initiative team in VisaIn this mission critical role, you have an opportunity to design and implement testing solutions resulting in continuous deployment of new features and services to production which is highly performant, scalable, secure and reliableResponsibilitiesResponsible for testing, validation, documentation, and reporting of systems application softwareDesign, create, execute and report on functional tests against multiple applicationsResearch, create and evaluate technical solution alternatives for the business needs.

Create systems and testing documentation per department standardsFollow standards in testing to ensure compliance with Audit RequirementsFollow Quality Control processes according to the Industry Standard practicesActively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiencyIdentify and document software defects in a clear manner and retest using corrected code to resolve the issue in a timely manner.

Identify and troubleshoot system issues working with development and support as requiredDesign, document and track test casesKeep accurate and timely records of project status in tracking systemsIdentify opportunities for process improvements and efficienciesCultivate, support, and promote an organizational culture that provides for high performance, high morale, integrity, and teamwork.

Work with business representatives, implementation teams, support teams and vendors to ensure on time, on budget, and quality delivery of testing deliverablesCoordinate and collaborate with a globally distributed teamWork non-standard work schedule as needed in support of global clients in all time zonesCommunicate directly and effectively with external clients, including providing written summaries of project statusThis is a hybrid position.

Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needsQualifications2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experienceBachelor's degree along with 3 - 6 years of experience in Computer Science or related fieldStrong technical testers with exposure working in large enterprise class applicationsGood exploratory testing skills by understanding related domain, architecture and requirements.

Should be passionate about quality engineering and has keen eye on continuous improvement across process, product, technologyWorking knowledge in API automation Should be able to develop and enhance automations (Java, Junit/TestNg)Experience in debugging and troubleshooting issues in Linux/Win environmentsAbility to work with multiple stakeholders with proactive and strong communication skillsKnowledge of Performance testing (Jmeter or LR) and exposure to Security testing is a plus.
