Job Description: Understanding the client's query (FIT, Group, Leisure or Corporate) Checking available options on GDS Also checking with any B2B wholesalers just in case Suggesting best possible routing, airline by keeping in mind Immigration rules Quoting the client lowest airfare in real-time or within few minutes of receiving the query.
Calling for Passport copies of the client to create the PNR, store the fare Updating the client with baggage allowance, seat & meal preference, special requests, web check-in Updating the client with issuance deadline, cancellation, rescheduling, refund policy Aggressively following up on the query until the deal gets closed Negotiating lowest possible deal with issuing IATA agent and get the ticket issued.
Liaise relationship managers of Airline & B2B consolidators Timely checking the Queues in GDS so as to avoid getting ADM Following up with Airlines & Issuing agents for refunds if any Checking weekly statements received from ticketing consolidators Getting best SOTO fares & Coupon fares from their dealers.
Issuing tickets on Client's credit cards, Miles, Points when required Coordinating with Accounts team to get invoice generated Promptly sharing ticket copies and invoices with clients Coordinating with clients for payments without any delay Proactively asking the client if he/she needed any additional booking of visa, travel insurance,accommodation etc.
If yes, connect the client to our Operations / Sales team immediately Remaining as one point contact for client until the end of the trip Rescheduling, Cancelling the ticket as per client's requirement Remaining available 24x7 for any eleventh hour changes Maintaining cordial relationship with the client so that they refer us more business.
Minimum criteria to apply for this job: Must be able to travel daily (Mon-Sat, 10am 7pm) to our office at Charni Road, Mumbai Must be a graduate with bachelor's degree Must have 6+ years' ticketing experience in International sectors outside Asia Must have strong and effective communication and analytical skills Must have in-depth knowledge of International destinations like Europe, UK, USA, NewZealand, Africa in terms of Routing (especially in Open Jaw itineraries), Lay-over & Covidguidelines etc.
