The Applications Development Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology teamThe overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities

• The selected candidate will be part of the Global Wholesale Loans and Credit Risk (WLCR) Site Reliability Engineering
• Site Reliability Engineer is a critical role that will help drive the end-to-end deliverables to ensure a stable, efficient, observable, and resilient technology environment
• The successful candidate will deep-dive into current production incidents, understand current design and architectural issues, develop innovative and technical tooling to improving production stability and enabling faster recovery.
  
  
• The candidate will be required to partner closely with the technology leads of each functional streams across WLCR and the wider organization to achieve their goals to improve supportability and reduce toil

Responsibilities:

• Develop automations, introduce, and implement new tools and systems to continually push SRE practices
• Design, implement and maintain technologies used to provide application infrastructure support
• Coordinate infrastructure changes, troubleshoot issues and service application infrastructure change requests
• Provide input on technical design and do the technical implementations of SRE plans and projects
• Participate in new environment planning.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in all environments related to automation processes
• Take part in planning deployments and improvements to CI/CD pipeline
• Environment Management
• First point of contact for any user issues
• Ensure prompt resolution of issues
• Support multiple end of days processing in non-production environment during testing
• Address any issues related to LoanIQ environment setup
• Manage the setup of Autosys for end of day processing

Skills

• 3-5 years of experience preferred but open to other programming languages as well.
  
  
• Experience in CICD - BitBucket, and at least one of (Jenkins, Teamcity, udeploy, LightSpeed, any other CI or CD tool)
• Experience in software development on Linux Java or Python
• Experience inServer automation - At least one of (linux shell script, windows batch script, windows power shell)
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software
• Competent with API, web services and microservices development
• Experience with Sql/NoSql databases like Oracle, MongoDB
• Python Flask or Django Framework development experience.
  
  
• Frontend tech like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Experience writing automation tests
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical, algorithmic, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with automation tooling eg.
  
  Ansible, Chef, Puppet or SaltStack a plus
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift a plus
• Experience with any Cloud Technology a plus
• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field
