As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be part of our Verifi Product development team to play the role of a dev lead to design, architect and build dispute resolution products and solutions in an agile development environment You will work with highly talented colleagues, who will support and challenge you every day.

You will be taking the driver seat and be part of the multiple projects ranging from building full stack development of real-time dispute resolution services, REST services API, Container based services to highly functional, secure, scalable and resilient real time and batching systems You will work with different stake holders to gather requirements, design, architect and develop solutions in a fast paced and highly dynamic environment You will be responsible for creating and implementing best practices, finding areas of improvements, and coordinating multiple work streams Unit testing, code reviewing, and regular check-ins for continuous integration is just part of your DNA You will see the code written going to production in few days and used by huge customer base including Apple, Sony, PayPal, Airbnb, Chase, etc.

• Build and mentor developers to ensure deliverables are on time with good code quality
• Coordinate Continuous Integration activities, building automation frameworks, building platformsand other related items in addition to contributing core product code
• Present technical solutions, capabilities, considerations, and features in business terms
• Effectively communicate status, issues, and risks and plan the deliverables in a precise and timely manner

This is a hybrid position Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications: 5+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related technical field required with 8-12 years of experience with at least 2 years in a lead role mentoring juniors OrMaster's Degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related technical field required with 6+ years of experience with at least 2 years in a lead role mentoring juniors Expertise with the Java 8 platform or higher Expertise with Spring Boot, Vertx, and Apache frameworks.

Development experience in designing and building Microservices, specifically with HTTP, REST, JSON and XML Experience in containerization and container orchestration technologies like docker and kubernetes Experience designing and using a Relational database and good to have knowledge in NoSQL database Good to have knowledge in React or Advanced JavaScript is desirable.

Experience in GIT, Maven, Jenkins or such build automation tools Knowledge of Security and Authentication standards and technologies like OAuth Experience working with ETL tools like CloverDx is desirable Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
