Supplier Security Assessment Job In Daimler Mobility In Bengaluru / Bangalore, India

• Works with all relevant supplier security, technical, incident management teams and the various lines of business to drive remediation of security issues
• Identify trends and potential problem sources (by reviewing Problems dealt by the team)
• Develop interpersonal relationships within the team and interacting with and across departments/ time-zones and working with external suppliers and partners
• Enthusiastic and committed to the work, willing to help others grow
• Experience in providing technical oversight to other project team members to maintain engagement quality
• Maintain expertise on security trends through training, research and development in order to mitigate potential security exposures
• Maintains an inventory of problems under analysis and their current progress and status
• Creates periodic reports on the problem management process and problem trending

• Experience in Security Architecture (applications and/or Network) and processes in a typical enterprise
• Knowledge on Information Security fundamentals, OWASP tools and methodologies
• Any security certifications is a plus
• Knowledge of standard SDLC practices, understanding or various security touchpoints in SDLC
• Knowledge of network attacks, post exploitation, security vulnerabilities rating frameworks such as CVSS/CVE etc.
  
  
• Familiarity with application development across programming languages, such as C, C#, C++, Java, Python
• Understanding of modern IT technology stack eg Docker, Kubernetes etc and cloud computing service models (SaaS, PaaS and IaaS) across Azure and AWS ecosystems.
  
  
• Effective understanding and implementation Risk Management process

• Bachelors/Masters in either Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems Management or equivalent work experience in IT to compensate for the lack of a degree
• Proficient English language written and oral communication skills
• Ability to complete tasks and communicate professionally with clients
• Ability to present findings to technical staff and executives
• Experience in handling client queries, providing overview of security processes & mitigation strategies in order to remediate vulnerabilities
• Innovative approaches to solving problems by the use of various tools, applications and code solutions if needed
• Basic programming skills in Python, PowerShell, BASH to write quick solutions for automation
